Patti Hoffert
Patti Hoffert
Painter
Patti discovered a passion for art after her retirement. In 2008, she moved to Arizona from Oregon, where she took her first art class in watercolors. Her teacher told her she had talent, and Patti quickly embraced a new creative path—art!
Her love of color and the wonderful textures of nature are central to her drive to create landscapes, which remain her main focus. Patti primarily works in pastel but also explores acrylic and oil with cold wax, as well as batik and mixed media. These materials allow her to capture both the vivid colors and subtle textures she sees in the natural world.
The goal of Patti’s work is to portray the beauty and wonder of nature—both human and environmental—using bold colors and expressive gestures. She strives to convey a sense of hope and happiness through her art, offering viewers a chance to pause and reflect on the world’s vibrant details. Through her work, she invites others to experience the joy she finds in creating.
“I love to translate the beauty I’m surrounded by into something that makes viewers quietly smile in remembrance.”
