Lynne Beck

Stained Glass Mosaic Artist

Lynne A Beck has been immersed in the world of art for as long as she can remember. Her creative journey began at the age of six, when her mother introduced her to embroidery—a formative experience that sparked a lifelong passion for artistic expression. Over the years, she explored a wide range of mediums including painting, printmaking, weaving, and quilting, each one adding depth to her evolving practice.

In 2005, Lynne discovered stained glass and mosaic art, which quickly became central to her artistic voice. She was drawn to the interplay of light, color, and texture inherent in glasswork. These art forms allowed her to merge many personal interests—such as pattern design, vibrant color combinations, and a deep appreciation for nature and gardens—into a cohesive and fulfilling practice.

Lynne’s work is distinguished by her use of upcycled and recycled materials. She often incorporates found objects from nature and repurposed construction materials into her pieces, merging sustainability with creativity. This commitment to reimagining discarded items reflects both her resourceful spirit and her belief in the beauty that exists all around us—even in the most unexpected places.

Her process is driven by curiosity and challenge. Whether designing a mosaic panel that integrates unique objects or experimenting with striking glass combinations, Lynne finds joy in creating works that are visually captivating and environmentally conscious. Her art invites viewers to see the extraordinary in the everyday and to appreciate the delicate balance between the natural and the crafted world.

I love combining a variety of natural and manmade elements. The sky’s the limit as to items that can harmonize.
